Welcome to our “About” page! Steel Crossing was formed in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, in 2021. Original members Bill Gironda, Bob Jorin, and Frank Neigel came together to form a band that can play a broad range of familiar and original tunes, feature any of the band members on lead vocals, provide rich harmonies, and deliver energetic versions of songs we love.
In 2023 we joined forces with Jim Kroepfl, who shares our musical vision and brings a fourth voice and great guitar skills to the band, creating the incredible quartet that delivers powerful performances at the hottest events and venues throughout Door County!
In addition to a tastefully curated selection of cover songs spanning five decades, we sprinkle in a few original tunes that reflect our diverse musical backgrounds and favorite styles of rock, blues, funk, reggae, and Americana.
